FAQ
Does my nail have a fungal infection?
If you are unsure, you can consult our illustrations or have the fungus confirmed by a podiatrist. There is a thickening on the affected nail, sometimes white spots or a yellow nail, peeling nail that crumbles and breaks easily.
How long does the treatment take to eradicate onychomycosis?
An improvement of the nail is visible after the first application. However, the treatment must be applied until the healthy nail grows back completely. This can take several months, from 1 to 4 months for a fingernail and from 6 to 12 months for complete regrowth of the toenails.
How many applications does a bottle contain?
About 300 applications or 4 months of use
Can the Purifying Oil-Serum be applied to children, diabetics and pregnant women?
Yes
Are the oil serums 100% natural?
Yes, Poderm takes particular care to develop 100% natural, organic certified products. They are all carefully selected for their effectiveness.
Should the oil-serum be applied to all nails, even healthy ones?
Yes, you can apply it to all your fingernails and toenails, even if only one is damaged, as a preventive measure. There is no risk of contamination of the bottle.
What are the tips to avoid toenail fungus?
- Keep your nails short
- Avoid using nail polish to hide damaged nails
- Dry your toes and between your toes well when you get out of the shower
- Remove your socks and shoes at home to prevent your feet from getting wet (maceration causes the fungus to grow)
- Apply the antifungal agent as soon as the fungus starts, the best treatment for nail fungus is daily and is long lasting to completely eradicate the fungus (about 4 months for a toenail)
- Wear sandals in public places (swimming pools, showers, changing rooms) to avoid any risk of contagion
