PODERM® SOOTHING – INGROWN NAIL SERUM acts mechanically to form a lipid film that immediately relieves the pain of ingrown toenails. It reduces tension between the nail and surrounding soft tissue.

Application

How to recognize an ingrown toenail?
You don’t feel any pain yet, but the nail seems to be growing in a bent position. It’s often the nail on the big toe that’s ingrown. Redness may appear, as well as a bulge or swelling around the nail. A series of photos will enable you to compare your nail.
When should I use Soothing Serum?
The serum can be used preventively if the patient has suffered from ingrown toenails before, or on the ingrown toenail to limit inflammation. The treatment is also suitable for post-operative nail regrowth, to be applied only to a healed wound.
How to avoid ingrown toenails?
- Cut your toenails regularly with nail clippers.
- Avoid wearing shoes that are too tight, and wear appropriate footwear when playing sports to avoid trauma
- Take off your shoes at home to let your feet breathe freely and avoid excessive perspiration
- Avoid wearing heels
